I’m sitting with friend’s and one of their friend’s shows up. Says he works for Ford Performance and on the GT350. You’d think this would be okay, but nah...

He starts off going on about how he’s buying a second $300k house with his day and how he’s gonna turn it into a fuckin bro-pad. With his $55k MKZ that he’s modded to be twin turbo making 350hp; calling my ST basic in comparison.

Then going on to say I’m an idiot for winter driving my RWD ST because that’s not what it’s for because he talks to engineers and knows this. I counteract with telling him to say that to Mustang drivers and he goes on to call the Ecoboost Mustang and GT shit cars because Ford doesn’t put money into them and says anyone with common sense would buy a GT350.

Then he goes onto my favorite subject of CAFE and emissions, a topic he knows nothing about and doesn’t care about because all manufacturers will be switching to twin turbo v6s in the next two years because all V10s V12s and V8s are stupid and anyone who wants one is an idiot because they’re inefficient, even the LaFerrari and other hybrids; oh and they’re impossible to maintain and no one wants to maintain them even if they have the time and money. The Coyote is a shit motor compared to the 5.7 and 6.2 HEMIs and I don’t know shit.

Counteracting all his points with proven facts on the matter, he completely ignores them stating with what the engineers and manufacturers say, calling me a douche to my face and the guy across from me and not wanting to speak to me anymore because I only care about what I think and not what the world thinks. Well guess what dipshit, it’s called an opinion and clearly you enjoy your brainwashing too much to have a mental capacity to think for yourself.

So why don’t you go somewhere and crash and burn into some trees while you blast your fucking electronic music with your fucking free passes and tickets and shit BRUH. The two options are either he disappears or I avoid everyone entirely and stay on my course to being a single hermit away from any social interactions ever again. I’m leaning towards the later, especially since no one had the balls to defend me.

I left high school with a few acquaintances and only one true friend. And I “broke up” with that friend a few years ago because he turned into a total right wing lunatic. Being part of a group is important, to be sure, but if you get less out of the relationship than you put in, then I would encourage you to find different friends. It’s tough, to be sure. Some people just like to hear themselves talk. Do your best to ignore him, and make your own words count.

Yeah, I can’t stand these people; I actually work for someone a bit like the guy you mentioned. He’s got a pair of jaguar F-Types and if someone isn’t making him money, he’ll go out his way to piss them off.
